one of 'those people'.

For a long time I have taken a little bit of pride from the fact that I am not one of 'those people'.  I am not one of 'those people' that takes a picture of every meal they eat.  I am not one of 'those people' that talk about their dogs & cats as if there was nothing else left in life.  I am not one of 'those people' that posts a selfie every 10 mins...pulling the exact same pose. I have been proud that I have not been sucked into the side of social media.  But, I can no longer take pride in it.  I realized the other day as I posted another picture on instagram that I have become one of 'those people'.  And here is the reason why....

the jeans are still a little much, but sooo cute!

I am one of 'those people' that shamelessly post pictures & videos of their baby erryday.  I mean, who can really blame me when I have the cutest baby in the world?? ;)

So to all of 'those people' out there, I now understand. Carry on my friends, carry on.

P.S. Speaking of my little Baby Ames, he is still a champ.  He had his 2 month (!!) appointment yesterday and took those shots like a baller. He then proceeded to sleep for over 9.5 hours last night which lead me sprinting into his room this morning when I woke up to make sure he was still alive...he is and woke up happy as a clam :)  Guess his little body just needed to sleep off the shots!  Here are the stats:

Weight: 10 lbs 13 oz - 29th percentile (he was in the 4th percentile at 2 weeks...chunking him right up!)
Height: 23 inches - 53rd percentile
Head Circumference - 16 inches - 67th percentile (hopefully it is filled with brains, not air...haha)

I love Ames Anthony more and more each day!  He is a boss baby.  He is just a chill, happy little dude.  I got off the hook as far as motherly-work-load. He already sleeps through the night (meaning at least one 5 hr stretch, I get up change the diaper & feed him then I'm back to bed in a half hour and he'll sleep another 3 hours), and the only time he fusses is if he is tired of tummy time or hungry.  He is also a STRONG little thing.  Nate commented the other day that..."I can't believe my 2 month old baby is stronger than me!" haha.  But in all seriousness, it is hard to get this little guy to move in a position he doesn't want to be in.  And one of his favorite things to do is to stand up (which he can do on his own if you help balance him).   We are a little nervous for when he is mobile...I think that is when my 'mommy-work-load' will significantly increase!

Here's to a good 2 months!

A little blurry, but that smile!! amiright?!
